Best place to stay in UC Davis Medical Area

Loved this place for several reasons: 1) affordable; 2) clean; 3) convenient; 4) great service; 5) best sleep I ve had in a hotel/motel in a long time. The rooms have hardwood floors and tile in the bath so I could walk barefoot and not worry where I stepped; the windows have no drapes - but rather Plantation Shutters - thus no dust from curtains. Even though there is no coffee maker or microwave, the front office has a Keurig machine and a variety of K-cups as well as a selection of Flavored Creamers. The place has been renovated and everything is top notch. The beds were to die for, as well as the pillows. LOVED it so much booked again for my next trip to UC Davis. Finally, the management and all the staff are incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any question or need. PS - if you are a smoker - they have two smoking areas in the garden.
